Holly Wreath by Colin Terris. An open wreath of holly leaves and red berries with a bow in green aventurine is surrounded by a garland of white star shaped canes over a deep purple ground.Having a '79' date cane in the base of the paperweight this is no. 125 of a limited edition of 500 in which 495 were made. Ocean Pearl designed by Alastair MacIntosh in 1993. A spherical paperweight with a central bubble depicting a pearl within a blue coral setting. This setup is contained within the weight which is encircled by highly polished scallop cuts to depict the shell. Number 14 of a fully subscribed edition of 50 with its original certificate. Alchemy, designed by Colin Terris in 1990. This is a modern abstract teardrop shaped paperweight with blue and pink spirals and a large airtwist bubble. This is number 280 of an edition of 650 which closed at 457. Diameter 31/8", height 33/4". £50 1517K

Egret by William Manson is a forward facing two layer paperweight made in 1996. The stylised egret wading in a pond with bullrushes to each side is in front of a clear translucent turquoise green ground and behind a second layer of lampwork which depicts and overhanging floral branch. This is no. 29 of and edition of 50 in which 47 were made. Diameter 3½", height 3¼". £195 1513K

Tropical Parakeet by William Manson in 1995 is a forward facing paperweight. A colourful interpretation of this long tailed member of the parrot family sits on a branch with leaves and a flower of a translucent turquoise green ground.Signed with a 'WM' signature cane and inscribed 21 - 50 and named to the base this paperweight comes with its original certificate. Swan Lake. This forward facing William Manson paperweight from 1988 has three layers of lampwork in its set up. Over a clear translucent cobalt blue gound there are set stylized bullrushes in front of which is a well fromed swan with reeds and a flower to the front of the weight which are set in clear. Being no. 16 of an edition of 250 which closed at 241 this weight has a diameter 3", and height 2¾". £160 1511K

Raspberries from the Traditional Collection of 1992. Having a flower, three raspberries, stems and leaves in lampwork by William Manson set over a translucent amber ground. The setup is then covered in a pure clear glass with a large top facet and eight circular punties around the side. The paperweight also contains the 'WM' signature cane. This is No. 35 of a fully subscribed edition of only 50. Diameter 3", height 1¾". £195 1510K

Most probably a very early Caithness pre 1969 and therefore possibly an Ysart, this is a top quality single Harlequin weight but comes unmarked in any way. The central bubble is surround by eight further bubbles around the periphery of the weight. It sits on a pale raspberry ground. Diameter 3", height 2.1". £75 707E

Tropicana Yellow. Designed by Peter Holmes in 1972 this is No. 151 of an edition size of 500 of which 487 were made. From a yellow and deep brown jasper type ground emerge three velvety brown 'petals' with an enlarged cane in the middle each of which is backed by a bubble. These are centered around an ovoid bubble at the base of which rests the PH cane. The base is etched in the usual diamond point of its time and dated 1975. In its original box and with its certificate having diameter 2¾", height 2½". £170 705E

Cascade. Designed by Peter Holmes in 1974 this weight was made in 1975 as indicated by the inclusion of a 'CG' cane in the base. A domed paperweight with a very dark brown base containing a double fountain inspired by the early glass dump flowers. £90 273B
