Signed and dated for 1972 with a rare variation in which part of the date ring is formed from the normal blue on white numerals but the rest of this is made up of blue stars on pale blue. Diameter 3", height 3".

As far as we can tell, this is a unique experimental piece attempting to produce a mushroom weight. Although as can be seen it has not quite worked and also contains a rather large air bubble here is a weight to enhance the completeness of any collection of Whitefriars weights.
